nutrition program
At Heartprint, our nutrition program is designed to support optimal learning and well-being through accessible, balanced meals. Community Centre participants have access to up to three nutritious meals a day, six days a week, ensuring they have the energy and focus needed for their daily activities. Research shows that proper nutrition plays a crucial role in cognitive function, and we’re committed to providing meals that nourish both body and mind. Our program not only fosters healthier eating habits but also empowers individuals to thrive academically and personally.
We not only provide nutrition but also offer education on it through our Get Active and Healthy and STEM sessions.
In the future, we hope to establish a community market garden where our community can grow their own produce and have access to fresh food.
Medical and Dental Support
To support long-term health, we offer six-monthly health checks, regular dental visits, and provide medication for ongoing health issues. Access to consistent medical care ensures early detection, prevention, and better overall community health.
Nutrition, medical and dental support all go hand in hand, it’s how we ensure all of our families are thriving in the Community Centre environment.
