Adult education

At our Community Centre, we are dedicated to fostering Adult skill development and community bonding through a variety of hands-on training workshops. We offer classes in sewing, crocheting, weaving, jewelry making, and much more. These workshops are open to all families currently in our care, providing an inclusive space for creativity and connection.

Every Tuesday, our talented artisans gather to learn new techniques, share innovative ideas, and collaborate on projects. This not only leads to the creation of beautiful crafts but also cultivates friendships and strengthens our community bonds. Together, we are building a supportive network that our members can rely on in times of need.

Adult Interpersonal Skills (AIS) Program

In addition to our creative workshops, we offer an Adult Interpersonal Skills (AIS) program conducted in Khmer, run in three-month blocks. This comprehensive program equips adults with essential skills in budgeting, finance, small business management, and marketing. Participants also develop valuable social skills such as conflict resolution, personal goal setting, and empowerment techniques.

Upon successfully completing the AIS program, participants gain access to our Adult English education offerings, which include speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills. This transition builds confidence and opens doors to further opportunities in their personal and professional lives.

Child care

To ensure that mothers and caregivers can fully participate in our programs, we offer free on-site childcare. No matter the child’s age, our dedicated team provides loving care and attention, so parents can focus on learning and growing without worry.
